To understand the challenge, consider this: the average monthly income in Ecuador is often not enough to cover both household expenses and the cost of vital supplements. A single can of Pediasure — a nutritional product crucial for children undergoing cancer treatment — can cost nearly 10% of a family’s monthly income. For many, this is simply out of reach.
